The Proteins We Work With
Our Great Variety of Proteins!
Red meat refers to beef, ox, horse and game meat. It is a source of vitamin B12; This vitamin helps us metabolize proteins, form red blood cells and maintain the central nervous system. It is rich in zinc, which helps protect against oxidative damage, skin healing and creates hemoglobin.
White meat is a type of meat that is characterized by having a less reddish color than red meat. White meat is considered meat that does not come from mammals, such as chicken, turkey, pork or rabbit.
Fish and shellfish belong to different biological groups. Fish are aquatic vertebrates, while shellfish are invertebrates, which include crustaceans (such as crabs and shrimp) and mollusks (such as mussels and oysters).
